How much is too much?

Lately I have been wondering how much is too much and what is not enough when it comes to getting Lily involved into baby activities.

Yesterday we were invited by Barbara and Dylan to go to a Movers & Shakers class at the Temple Beth Sholom.

They offer 1 free class to see if you like it and are interested in signing up.

The class was wonderful! I really liked the way Miss Rachel (once a teacher) conducted the class.

It was a wonderful room to begin with, with lots of wonderful toys for all the little ones to play with, and they got to do a little bit of everything.

There was play time, music and singing time, arts and crafts time, snack time, learning time…

It was 1 hour and 15 minutes of great learning fun.

As wonderful as it was, I’m not sure if I want to sign Lily up just yet.

I mean, we already go to the library every wednesday. We play at the park with our friends just about EVERY afternoon. We go to the beach thursday mornings also with our friends. We have had art in the park twice and look forward to the next one.

I feel like Lily gets plenty of stimulation from being with other children.

We also do a lot of one-on-one with her at home as far as reading, playing and learning is concerned.

How much is too much?

Shouldn’t I be saving some of this running around for when Lily gets older and really gets involved into things?

I would love to hear from some of you moms out there who have had or have kids and have some input on this topic.

Do you feel like I do?

What do you do with your little one?
