19 years closer
We had a great turn out at our full moon beach picnic last night.
It was just wonderful being around friends while watching the moon rise from the ocean.
I hadn’t done that in forever and one thing about Miami, we get beautiful moons here.
How about you?
Did any of you do anything special for the “special” moon last night?
P.S.- 2 more things:
1- Will and I are totally loving our camera. We took turns taking pictures last night. (Zura also took some too!)
2- We had such a great time being surrounded by so many wonderful friends and the ocean that when we got home, we started looking at Miami listings again…..

Wow, those photos are fabulous! I love the one where it looks like you’re holding the moon and interacting with it. I can tell the quality of these photos are amazing too, so you must have bought a really nice camera :).
So you’re thinking of staying in Miami? I’ve never been there, but it seems like it would be so much more alive there than in North Carolina … I think I’m realizing that I’m more of a city girl though … took me awhile to be able to admit this :).
Much love to you!
P.s. I am so jealous that you live so close to the ocean!

@Juliana,
thanks Juliana, yeah, Will got us a Nikon 3100. we love it!!
it’s a constant struggle between Miami and Raleigh because yes, we are city folk and like being near the ocean also. Miami has both of those to offer. BUT, we also miss seasons and the mountains and Raleigh has that to offer.
much love to you and Luna as well.

I would miss Miami too! I was looking for the moon as well and couldn’t spot it because of all our trees and we had some cloud coverage last night in Raleigh. You all could also look in WIlmington…the beach and seasons are there too! 🙂

What a great idea! It looks like it was so nice out…I sooo miss the beach. I missed the moon because it was cloudy 🙁 Oh well, there’s always 2029 I guess.
GREAT pics! My fave is the one where someone had the moon in their mouth!
