Gobble, gobble

So, remember how I said that we did nothing but watch movies this past weekend?

Well, between friday night and sunday, I gobbled down 7 movies.

Watching movies is one of my favorite things to do and seriously, since Lily was born, I have not been able to really sit down and enjoy a movie.

I was SO movie hungry!!

Here’s what I watched:

Beautiful losers– Loved it. Totally took me back to NYC in the early 90’s. Made me miss all the art energy.

Me and you and everyone we know– Cool and twisted in that indie flick kind a way.

The village barbershop– Don’t bother

Ponyo– LOVED it!!! One of my favorite kid’s movies right now. I forgot how much I love Japanimation. Oh, and I want to live in their house.

Toy Story 3– We have actually watched this a lot lately. We ALL love it. Ken cracks me up. lol

Exit through the gift shop– It’s funny how it seemed that everyone made this documentary to be about the street artist Banksy but, in actuality, it’s about Thierry Guetta. Thierry is a frenchman who happened to have been at the right place at the right time. I liked the documentary but I had a hard time watching Thierry because I think he is a bit empty and egotistical.

Eat Pray Love– Haven’t we all had an epiphany and wake up in the morning and not want to be married anymore but instead go to Italy, India and Bali? Yeah, I think so. I thought this movie was ok. Love James Franco.

And because I love Ponyo and maybe you don’t know what I’m talking about, here’s a clip:
