Mamas & their babies

I met Zura and Lien at the Miami Beach Library for story telling time almost 1 year ago.

We started talking, hit it off and made plans for future outings right away.

Whenever we get together, I’m guaranteed a good time.

Zura and I share common interests in art, movies, nature, photography (Zura is a great photographer).

She is a Mexican soul sister. 😉

Q- How old are you Zura?

A- 36

Q- Where were you born?

A- Mexico City

Q- How long have you lived in Miami?

Q- Did you breast feed and if so, for how long?

A- I’m still breast feeding 🙂

Q- Are you a stay at home mom or a working mom?

A- Both. I work from home and if I have to visit a client, Lien comes with me.

Q- What was the hardest part for you of becoming a mom?

A- Having a teenager and a newborn at the same time.

Q- How did you come up with the names for your children?

A- I always loved the name of my first son Mauricio. With Lien, we both wanted something with a beautiful meaning. Lien means lotus flower.

Q- What is the best advice you would give to a new mom?

A- RELAX!!! Nothing is perfect and at the same time, we are the perfect parents for our children just as we are. If we relax we can enjoy every second (this is for me too).

thank you Zura and Lien!
