I used to be picture crazy.
Well, let me rephrase that, I used to be crazy about getting pictures printed out.
I used to be the person who would get almost every picture printed out, several copies of each picture and hand them out to friends.
I have many friends who would not have pictures if it wasn’t for me.
I have countless photo albums.
I’m not like that anymore. (haven’t been for years)
I guess I have a lot more to do now.
You probably won’t believe me when I tell you that there is not one single picture of Lily in this apartment.
What!? You might be thinking?
I take SOOOOOOOOO many, right?
Well, maybe there are a few on the fridge but from last August.
I’m so bad at getting pictures printed out that I don’t even send pictures to my parents in Portugal.
Which brings me to the whole point about this post.
My dad, is starting his own Lily albums by taking (stealing) pictures from the blog.
That’s what it’s for after all.
So here you go pai, some new pictures of Lily. (beijinhos!)

I hate that I have let the man win when it comes to printing pictures! I used to be just like you…photo album after album. I guess most of us were like this. And, now it’s a pain to even think about it.
I’m actually trying to get some printed for my mom right now who has no access to the internet unless it’s the local library. But I have some sort of scrap book/photo album in the works for Eleanor. I gotta try and get it started before I get back to work, though. This is my mission.
Thankfully blogs and flickr are nice for grandparents with access. My in-laws love the updates as I’m sure your parents do, too with or without prints.
@Carey,
i don’t even have a scrap book for Lily. i feel really (REALLY) bad about it. ugh!
I’m the exact same way as you…when I was younger I always had my camera out and was taking pics and developing them with extras for friends. (I guess film cameras made that easier in some ways..) Now, I really have to make an effort to take the SD cards in to print them out. But I really do make the effort because I’m afraid my computer will crash one day, plus there’s just something about holding a picture in your hands and looking at it that can never be replaced…
BTW..I’ve been commenting on several of your posts lately, but I keep getting an error message telling me I’m not associated with my blog and it refuses to post my message…let’s see if this one works!
@Kelley,
I know what you mean about holding a picture. i still love it. i don’t know…i think i just got too far behind and decided to give up. quitter! you know what though? the albums just started accumulating! there’s no room.
so, obviously the comment went through. that’s weird, not sure why that happened. i’m sorry. thanks for letting me know!
