Mamas & their babies

Well, with so much going on this past week, I didn’t have time to really get pictures of any other mamas & their babies.

But, to stay true to the segment, I decided to feature myself with Lily. (there might still be some things you don’t know about me πŸ˜‰ )

Remember how I told you that Zura was a great photographer?

Q- How old are you?

A- 38

Q- Where were you born?

A- Luanda, Angola but raised in Portugal

Q- How long have you lived in Miami?

A- ItÒ€ℒs going to be 10 years in September

Q- How old were you when you had Lily?

A- 36

Q- How old is Lily?

A- 17 months old

Q- Did you breast feed and if so, for how long?

A- I breast fed for 1 year

Q- Are you a stay at home mom or a working mom?

A- I’m a stay at home mom.

Q- What was the hardest part for you of becoming a mom?

A- After taking extra good care of myself while pregnant, to not have any time to do so with a newborn.

Q- How did you come up with the name for Lily?

A- Lilies are my favorite flowers. Long before Will and I even seriously thought about having a baby, we had an imaginary daughter named Lily. She’s not so imaginary anymore. πŸ˜‰

Q- What is the best advice you would give to a new mom?

A- You can read all the baby books and sites in the world and they can be helpful but every child is an individual. Approach every situation with your own best judgment and do what works best for you, your baby and your family.
