Green eggs and ham
Yesterday we went to the library for a special reading of Dr. Seuss Green eggs and ham.
Did you know it was a $50.00 bet between Dr. Seuss and his publicist to see if he could write a book using only 50 words?
I didn’t. (crappy thing is the publicist never paid him the $50.00!)
Did you know it is the most popular and most sold book out of all the Dr. Seuss books?
I didn’t.
Peter from the Miami Children’s Museum (he also did Mr. Potato Head last month) is great with the kids.
I think the performance could have been not as LOUD and I think that Sam I Am was a bit cracked out but for the most part all of the kids seemed to have liked it.
i do not like green eggs and ham

Do you live in the city of Miami? I love how many activities there are for kids there!

@Carey,
we live in miami beach. southbeach to be exact. our library is awesome. they have a free babies and toddlers program every week. we have been going since Lily was 4 months old. when i first started coming to miami in the late 90’s, there were hardly any kids. but now… it’s all you see and the city/county have done a great job with the parks and programs for families and kids. 🙂
