I met Kadie through Will when he and I first started dating.
Although we don’t see each other often and don’t know each other that well, Kadie is a sweetheart and when we do meet, we are never short of conversation.
Especially now that she too is a mommy and we have our kids to talk about.
Q- How old are you Kadie?
Q- Where were you born?
Q- How long have you lived in Miami?
A-Â My entire life
Q- How old were you when you had Jake?
Q- How old is he?
A-Â 1 month
Q- Are you breast feeding and if so, for how long do you plan on doing it for?
A- Yes. I plan to breast feed for a year if possible.
Q- Are you a stay at home mom or a working mom?
A-Â I am going to be returning to work. I will start to work from home next month and will return to the office some time in September.
Q- What was the hardest part for you of becoming a mom?
A-Â I think the hardest part is having someone so reliant on you for all its needs. I love being a mom, but since I am breastfeeding running errands or going out with friends requires planning and timing. This has been hard for me to adjust to. We are getting much better at it, but it still is frustrating every so often.
Q- How did you come up with the name for Jake?
A-Â We wanted a hebrew name as well as a J in honor of Ben’s Grandfather Joseph. I really liked the name Jacob. We also chose the middle name Lewis for my Grandfather.
Q- What is the best advice you would give to a new mom?
A-Â The best advice I have is enjoy each day as a new first. They are only that size for one day. Jake is growing so quickly and becoming a little person and I look forward to each day and all the surprises that it will bring. Being a mother is so much more than I ever imagined and the love you have is deeper than anything you have ever known.
