RIP Indigo
We just got Indigo back from uncle Darren a few days ago and he passed away this morning. (sad)
I’m not good with death.
It’s definitely one of the reasons I have never been a pet owner and a big concern of mine about being a parent.
I know death is part of life but, when I thought of being a parent I always thought about how one day I will die and how unfair that would be to my child/children. I can’t help that my crazy head goes there.
Anyway, Indigo has passed away and now I’m left with trying to explain death to Lily and with bad-pet-ownership guilt.
RIP Indigo. You will be missed.

awww how sad!
We used to have 4 goldfish and Jimena was so happy about the idea of have a pet, but they pass away in 2 weeks, so after that she was soooo sad all days, and that brakes my heart……
it’s difficult to explain death, even for me it’s crazy to think about it…….
have a nice day!

Growing up, we had two goldfish. We had them literally for years! One of them died. The other one actually became ‘depressed.’ Early one morning, my mom went into my brother’s room where the fishbowl was. She saw something on the floor. It was the remaining, sad fish. He jumped out of the bowl. Now, we could never determine why he did that, but we just chalked it up to loneliness!
