coloring eggs
and the reality of coloring eggs with a two year old is that you will most likely not get eggs that look like this but cracked and funky colored eggs like the ones in the pictures above
Lily kept on slamming the eggs in the colored water and cracking them and it was hard for me
because i wanted pretty easter eggs
but not everything is pretty with a two year old
including coloring eggs
happy easter everyone!!

I think your eggs look lovely… And so did Lily! We have the same flamenco dress 😉 I was supposed to post some pictures, but it completely slipped my mind, maybe I’ll post them this week. Happy Easter!!!
P.S. Love the photo for your header…

I saw something clever on another blog. I thought, “BRILLIANT” and it was one of those, “why didn’t I think of that?” moments. She gave each of her kids a wire wisk and put an egg inside of the whisk by gently pulling the wires apart. The egg sits safely inside of the whisk and then the kids can hold the eggs in for as long as the want and pull them in and out “testing” the deepness of the color. Minimal mess on the fingers and no eggs that are cracked. 🙂 Happy Easter to you!
