yesterday was a hard day for me

i have recently received some news from portugal that i’m not ready to openly share yet but that have stunted me

everyone is ok. i’m just stunted

i have been trying to paint and i can’t

i’m stunted

when Lily saw me crying yesterday, i explained to her that mommies need to cry too sometimes and that i was just having a sad day

“mommy, don’t have a sad day. i’m here. i’m here forever”

she melts my heart

so, in order to try to end the day right, i called my friend Max to come over and cut off all my hair

it could have gone terribly wrong

but instead it went terribly right

    Aww, really sorry to hear that some rough news has hit your heart there mama. That Lily knows how to keep the sparkle in the days there it looks like though, what a pixie! Smart idea getting your hair(s) cut at home… easier for everyone!
