    I don’t think you get to complain about the hot weather any more. I’m tempted to send you photos of my poor ice-covered garden. :-)

    I keep meaning to start growing vegetables again but I never seem to have the time – which is a lame excuse – maybe I can ease myself in with a container garden…

    I am looking at your beautiful fruit and veg and I am so jealous! There just hasn’t been enough sun here yet to get everything going!

    • May 16, 2013 at 10:11 pm

      @damson lane,

      i wish i could send you some sun. there is plenty of it here…

    Oh Limes, I would absolutely love a lime tree, without growing it indoors it would freeze to death here! I do have a small fig tree that gave me 3 figs last year haha, but I doubt it’ll do anything this year. x

      @Nichola,

      it is a little cocktail tree with key limes and meyers lemons :) when we first got it we didn’t really know how it was going to do. it only had one baby lime on it. it must like where it is because it is loaded now. it does require lots of sun and water. i would love a fig tree. they are one of my favorite fruits.

      @coombemill,

      everything here has grown very fast. but then again, we have had lots of rain and we always get plenty of sunshine. good luck with your garden!

    Loving those gorgeous close up shots. And the seeing it growing.
    I ought to grow things – other than the strawberries and herbs that are taking care of themselves.

    • May 19, 2013 at 11:23 am

      @pinkoddy,

      i really would like some strawberries growing in our garden

    beautiful pictures. We have started to clear the bottom of the garden which will ultimately be a raised veg bed and greenhouse. I currently have tomatoes and courgettes growing in the house! Will pop by next week to see how they’ve come on xx

      @Charly Dove,

      it’s the payoff of living in the sun and heat for 360 days out of the year! ;)
