once we were done with kayaking, Lily was ready for a swim at a regular “people beach”
i guess she wasn’t down to swim with the crocodiles???
we asked around for a good local swimming spot and were referred to anne’s beach just a few minutes south
although beautiful, anne’s beach has the marshiest bottoms i have ever had to walk on
perhaps it would have been less gross if the tide was high
either way, it was good enough for Lily to get her water/swimming fix and i think once we got used to the sinking bottom, we enjoyed it also
after all that kayaking and some beach time we were all starving
as we drove north, mexican food seemed to be the most talked about in the car
stopping by at a decent spot but not it and driving by another possibility which was closed, we finally found puerto vallarta
and oh did we ever find a mexican gold mine!
puerto vallarta has the best mexican food i have eaten in a long, long time
it is real authentic mexican food, the kind you only find in mexico of course but the kind i have only had in california and nyc
eating an authentic mexican dinner was the perfect way to not only end such an amazing sun day but to end was has been one of the best and fullest months of april
happy thursday friends. hope you have all enjoyed these stretched out sun day posts and that you are all having a great week so far
