the little farm
i have not written a sunday post in a long time
but, since things are about to get busier than usual around here and this is the place where i document it all, i felt like yesterday was worth a post today
yesterday morning we woke up, had breakfast as usual, checked on the yard as usual and then started getting ready for a busy day
i helped Lily get dressed and was in the shower when Will told me that the birthday party i was getting ready for, was not until the following day. sunday. today
ooooooooops!
forgetting about a halloween party we had been invited to also but knowing that halloween was getting closer and closer, i suggested we drive an hour south to the little farm
things like pumpkin and apple picking are the things that make me miss living in the northeast the most
this time of year was always my favorite
beautiful farms to visit with beautiful views of leaves changing color…
in homestead there were no beautiful views of leaves changing color but there were lots of beautiful farms
with pumpkins, horse and pony rides and a petting zoo, the little farm was perfect for getting Lily in the mood for halloween and thanksgiving
it was also just enough to continue traditions
happy sunday friends!

Gosh, Autumn/Fall definitely looks different! I spent a year in New England back in the day when I was a carefree teenager and loved the pumpkin picking and chilly Fall days! It’s all very wet and windy over here at the mo and we’re bracing ourselves for storms. Joy! Gorgeous pics with lots of Autumn orange 🙂

Love these photos – so nice! I must admit that cat asleep one made me gasp – beautiful!
Looks like such a great day out there, Lily got up to loads – is it me or is she suddenly looking older?! I am going to sound like my nan but they grow so fast.
And ding dong – that’s a rather lovely man you have there 😉

@Annie,
thank you Annie. it was a fun place to venture out to and spend most of the day. Lily got to do lots and yes, she is looking much older and sounding it even more these days. can’t believe she will be turning four next week. eeeeek! xo
