around here
life has been good to Will and i
we found love in each other seven years ago, we are blessed with a wonderful daughter (seriously, she is amazing), we have loving families and friends, we live in a beautiful house in a wonderful neighborhood…
we are very, very blessed
with all that said, Will and i cannot help but to often think about living elsewhere
together and on our own we still think about living in a place where the trees are taller, the weather is cooler and the skyscape does not include just highrises
as good as miami has been to us, in our hearts we roam elsewhere
far
not knowing exactly where that place is, we stay put where we are and have been for the past decade
but we know that time is ticking
we know that it all gets much harder once Lily starts “real” school
it is a thought and a feeling we live with daily
we may not speak of it to each other all the time but i know it is there for him as much as it is there for me
i know we will eventually figure it out
hopefully sooner than later
happy friday friends
wishing you all a lovely weekend

Gypsy blood is running in your veins there… and I hear you! It’s such a weird and wild thing to navigate where to go next, and how to know it’s the right spot… but I think you have a good attitude in the midst of it, to still savour the beauty you have now and not waste the present with wishing for another place – though that may come too, we never know whats around the corner!
Sweet Lily.. stupid kids, this is the part that kills me about school… a rite of passage in some weird way I guess, to discover who are friends and how to face rejections. Anyway! Hope you guys have a sweet lovely weekend.. and if you really want ‘cool’ you should move up NORTH here ;o)
Ok.. my eyes are hurting from this teeny text I can barely read!
