a picnic at the little river farm. part two

March 25 2014 216

after we had lunch and our bellies were full from some of the most delicious food, we found a shady spot underneath an oak tree

sitting there in the shade, enjoying soulful conversation with three great women (two of them mamas), not hearing anything else but the sound of children playing and birds chirping, reminded me of our summers in west virginia

it felt wonderful to be away from the traffic, the noise, the condos and everything else that makes miami…. well, miami

hope you have enjoyed this visit to a miami farm

i will be showing more of what grows on the farm tomorrow on a garden update

(told you it was going to be farm-y here this week)
