a garden update
taking pictures of our garden is something that i do just about daily
so today i would like to share with you some snippets of what has been happening in the past couple of months
joining Annie with how does your garden grow?
the fire bush by the pond is always in bloom
i purchased this curcuma not too long ago (in the ginger family) and it’s doing great
there are now two
the carambola (aka starfruit) is blooming and fruiting again (annoyed face)
these birds of paradise and ground orchid like flowers just kind of do on their own
we had a huge mango season but it is now over
we can see this guy again
and ivan seems happy (and slightly freaky)
our citrus trees are doing great
a regular
the fungus among us. due to huge amounts of rain
love this climber
always in bloom
the beautiful lilies i received on mother’s day are now done but look like they might bloom again soon
also gifted on mother’s day and such a great addition to our garden (you know me and orchids…)
and the water hyacinth. it is always a treat seeing them in the pond

I’d love to be able to pick mangos and citrus fruits from the garden. I’m glad I’m not the only one who takes garden photos most days 🙂 The water hyacinth are really pretty!

As always I adore the water hyacinth, but that very first photo is just stunning! Lovely to see your garden again, I’m feeling quite out of the loop with summer (and moving house!) taking over all my time 🙂 #HDYGG

What a treat seeing such unusual (to me in the UK) plants, alongside Gnomes! Love the fire bush over the pad, so vibrant.

Loving Ivan, he’s got a tiny touch of the creepy about him that I kind of like (I just started chuckling randomly at the thought of those who didn’t like the dolls heads that one time!)
All your photos are great – as always – but I really REALLY love that top one – just such a great contrast. Things seem to change so much from month to month there – I love watching things from here x
Thanks for joining in again x
