that time they were both four

i began writing this blog almost five years ago

through here, through the years i have met a handful of mamas who i honestly consider friends

that may sound strange given the fact that i have not physically met most of them but, it’s true (the internet is weird that way right?)

Drea is one of those mamas i fortunately got to meet two years ago (HERE)

it’s a tricky thing meeting people. in general

it’s even trickier when there are children involved

the adults might get along but not the kids

or the kids might get along but not the adults

you never know

even though i am much older than Drea (and a meat eater), i like to think that we are like minded and pretty much hit it off before we even physically met

Lily and Marlowe? friends. from the moment they met

and then when the husbands get along and can shoot the shit?

total score

a win, win, win all around

we don’t live too far away from each other but just far away enough that with the busyness of life, we don’t get to see each other as much as we would all like

but we try

and that is all that matters

this was a sunday afternoon in our yard

with wine and neck tattoos

see? win, win

ps- you can see more of our time together on Drea’s blog here
