they say april showers bring may flowers, right?
well, even though we didn’t have that many april showers, may was definitely a good month in our garden
and i have been trying to enjoy and cherish all of the garden’s splendor as much as i can because the heat is only rising and soon there will be nothing but green
lots of hibisus
a few new orchids were added and both the new and the old were all blooming at the same time at one point
new pride and joy since the other ones are done for now
it’s mango season and i have been fighting these guys big time. because the guy below definitely doesn’t do anything
we added some climbers to the teepee area. the bleeding hearts are doing great
bought a couple of succulents with pretty blooms
this hydrangea was gifted to me for mother’s day and i have planted it where it gets morning sun and afternoon shade as requested but i think miami is just too hot for it
the kurkuma (in the ginger family) that i thought had died managed to come back some how. i had seriously pulled the old stems off the dirt. i was so surprised!
the water hyacinth…
and this tree. thought the flowers were paper gardenias but not sure. either way, i love it. it’s always blooming and it smells so sweet
