a garden update
although i have a few posts drafted with more blooming trees and other people’s gardens, i chose to post our miami garden once again
mostly because of the birds
we have become quite the bird watchers since moving to this house
joining Annie with how does your garden grow?
the orchids are slowly going however, the hibiscus keep blooming
the bluejays have made themselves quite comfortable in our garden
still fighting off these guys. he thought that if he looked away, we wouldn’t see him
and are you ready? father cardinal was feeding his young daughter. they are truly amazing birds. we have been watching them…

Oh wow those birds Claudia! They make the ones in my garden look a tad dull. I quite fancy making a colour palette out of the blue ones tail colours…
Stunning hibiscus – I love how the center looks as if it’s been woven on the third photo down, so intricate. I need to invest in a macro lens don’t I?
I hope you are all having fun there at the moment lovely – totally stalking your instagram feed – such colour!
Thanks for joining in again – love to all there x

@Annie,
Thank you Annie. We’re having a great time. It’s been such a good break from Miami. From everything hot, humid and flat. Happy weekend! Xx

I love those shots of the red cardinals. We had red cardinals and blue jays when we were living in the Hamptons and I was constantly watching them. Your photos are like eye candy.

Nice to see your garden and the cardinals 🙂 The bluejays have really beautiful colouring. I hope you are winning the battle against the squirrels. Our pesky squirrel has been nosing around the metal feeder in the back garden. Grrrr.

Oh I love those bluejays! It looks like they have a mosaic on their backs. Of course I can’t get enough of your red cardinals especially when there are little ones involved.
