it can be really scary can’t it?
but it can also have its great advantages and be really cool
before we even moved to asheville, both Will and i started following certain asheville local people and places on instagram
one of those people i started following is a local photographer
a couple of weeks ago she posted the sweetest picture of a place in black mountain
sweet enough for me to tell Will that we should definitely check it out
so, this past saturday, on a beautiful fall day, we decided to go for a drive and try to find the sweet looking place in the instagram picture
la guingette is a creperie (for the most part) located only twenty minutes away from us in black mountain (yet another charming town)
once there, we told our waiter that we were new to the area and that we found out about the place through instagram, through a local photographer
he asked who the local photographer was, i showed him a picture through instagram, only to find out from him that she was there at that exact time!
he went back inside, told her, and we actually got to meet
it’s funny how the universe (instagram) works sometimes, isn’t it?
anyway, the food was delicious (we tried a few things), the service was great, the views were beautiful and we couldn’t have picked a better fall day to go and sit outside
la guingette is our new a la folie and we will definitely return
many times over
it was the most perfect fall day so we chose to sit outside
a sweet crepe. soooooooo good!
there were two little girls at the table next to us so the girls all got to play once they were done eating
was it starting to feel like we don’t leave the house!???
