a visit
you know, there is something to be said about family/friends who always make the effort to come see you
no matter where you are it seems
in this case, i’m talking about Drea and Marlowe (and Alex too when he can join his family)
ever since we met Drea and Marlowe (here), they have always made an effort to see us
in the small apartment in southbeach, in the yellow house, in the red house, and now here in the blue house all the way in asheville
time spent together is always effortless
especially between Lily and Marlowe who hit it off from the start and always seem to pick up where they left off
they came, we did out and about but at home as well
and then they left
leaving behind delicious homemade pizza and sunshine
and let’s not forget wonderful memories to build on
once again they made the effort
and for that, we love them just a little bit more every time
some favorite past times together: a pre-basel playdate with D and M, overnight visitors, a picnic at the little river farm, that time they were both four, spring break twenty fifteen, the enchanted forest, earth-n-us
ps- Drea, if you’re reading this, i still want that mamacation we planned almost three years ago
and then like an asshole, foxy nipped Marlowe and almost became a street dog again. asshole
at sunny point cafe. Marlowe’s first time in snow. so happy
Lily with her other family. the one where she has a sister
love these three

it’s so good to keep friendships even in the distance and see them from time to time!
the dad of wendie’s friend was a glass blower, it’s a very difficult art.
