a first official snow day… continued

January 22 2016. 001 (150)

these pictures were taken on january twenty second

Lily has not had a full/normal school week since before these pictures were taken

last week she had two or three delayed school openings and this week started off the same way

i’m trying to understand

i’m trying to wrap my head around it however, growing up in new jersey (where there was a lot more snow and hardly any snow days) and seeing where Will grew up (in west virginia where there is even more snow and people still function normally), i am having a really hard time dealing with the fact that this town cannot handle much as far as weather conditions are concerned

i mean, what will happen if this place REALLY gets hit with some real snow!?

will the whole place shut down?

and for how long?

it’s kind of ridiculous and scary all at once

anyway, snow pictures

she argued with me about not needing her gloves. then she fell sledding and her hands got dipped in the snow. not a happy moment. she quickly put on her gloves. lesson learned
