a garden update. a morning in Kenny’s secret garden
some of you may remember and recognize this secret miami garden (featured here, here and here)
while Lily and i were on winter break, we got to spend a wonderful (hot and humid) morning there
Kenny Scharf’s secret garden is a green treasure in the middle of wynwood’s concrete jungle
one we have watched grow from the very beginning
a place Lily and i would often visit and care for
it felt good to see it even more overgrown than ever
and thriving
i hope it will still be there the next time we visit….
joining Annie with how does your garden grow?
first things first. although we have the code to the gate, we don’t have the code to the rv where everything glows in the dark. Lily always tries to break in though (inside glow in the dark pictures and a tiny Lily here from two years ago)
let’s try one more time before we leave….

Oh my – Lily has grown so much! I can see why she wants to get into that rv – and really cool how it’s stuck in her mind all this time.
Always love looking at photos of this garden, how the art and plants look like they have always been paired together.
So good! Thank you for joining in again (muchos appreication) xx

Wow – is there special access or can I visit this garden the next time I visit my brother in Miami? You’ve captured beautifully the colours, the orchids and your daughter.
