Things we LOVE!

Although we received the Soft Tiles interlocking foam floor mat only today, we are already LOVING it!!!

Lily spent almost the whole day on there getting plenty of tummy and play time.

After doing much research on the internet, we chose the Soft Tiles because not only were they the least expensive but, each square comes in 2 different sizes and in 8 colors. You can mix and match your own.

Red, Yellow and green were the colors we chose. How very Portuguese of us. 😉

Here is a very happy Lily on her Soft Tiles mat wearing a bodysuit by Old Navy, pants and socks by babyGap.

So little yet taking over already

We received Lily’s new interlocking foam floor mat today that we got from Soft Tiles.

It’s wonderful! We have been wanting it for a while so Lily can get more tummy time and have something soft to play on later however, it takes up the whole living room.

Again, living in a small 1 bedroom, we have limited space. Will and I have become experts on creating space where there isn’t any. lol

So until we move (hopefully sooner than later) and until Lily gets her room, we will just all have fun on this mat in the middle of the living room and make do! 🙂

Here is Lily enjoying herself on her Soft Tiles in a bodysuit by Old Navy, pants and socks by babyGap. And all of us having some fun before Lily’s bed time. Lily wears pink pajamas by babyGap.

Not so relaxing bath time

Will, Lily and I live in a 1 bedroom apartment that is only 850sq feet.

It only has 1 small bathroom in which there is a shower, NO bathtub!

Bath time is becoming quite challenging as Lily grows.

Yes, we do have a baby tub for her but it is quite hard to get it out of the shower after it’s been filled with water without getting water all over the floor.

Once she is in it (something she seems to be outgrowing also), she splashes water EVERYWHERE! When I’m done giving her a bath, I look like I jumped in the bath with her with my clothes on.

While I was pregnant with Lily, I would read about how important bath time is because it’s so relaxing. Not so in this place. Did I forget that we didn’t have a bathtub or did I think that one was going to magically appear?

Note to self: When we move, the new place MUST have a bathtub!

Things we LOVE!

Red! As in the painting I did.

Lily LOVES Red.

Every time we are in the bedroom changing her diaper or playing, Lily can’t take her eyes off of Red. She smiles real big at her and, in her own Lily way, even talks to her.

Here is Lily only 3 days old with Red in the background.
