Sometimes it’s just hard trying to figure out what exactly to feed her.
She eats 4 full meals every day.
BREAKFAST. She usually has oatmeal with milk, banana, cinnamon and honey with some fresh fruit (usually grapes) on the side. Sometimes instead of oatmeal, she will have a 1 egg omelet, some toast and fresh fruit.
LUNCH. Noodles with olive oil and parmesan cheese, mac and cheese, grilled cheese, soups, cheese and turkey sandwich, sweet potatoes and other veggies, etc. And then of course, fresh fruit on the side.
AFTERNOON LUNCH/SNACK. Either a waffle with butter and a drizzle of syrup with fruit or yogurt with fruit.
DINNER. Most of the time it’s just like lunch. Noodles, soups, veggies, etc
I have introduced Lily to yogurt and she LOVES it!!
I bought her the Stonyfield Organic Whole Milk YoBaby Yogurt in Vanilla and Banana and she can’t get enough of it.
I give it to her plain, sometimes I mix it with fruit such as bananas, peaches, strawberries (yes, even a strawberry! she was fine, no allergies.), I’ve mixed it with her cereal. It’s definitely her healthy yummy treat. 😉
And I LOVE watching her eat it!!!
Here is a picture of Lily and her yogurt face. 🙂 (now I have Gaga in my head but singing: yo-yo-yo-yogurt face, yo-yo-yogurt face . lol)
The rice cereal has been such a success with Lily, we decided to add bananas and sweet potatoes to her menu.
Yesterday and today for breakfast Lily had mashed bananas in her rice cereal. I mix 1oz of breast milk with the rice cereal and then add in 1/4 of a banana and mash it all up together.
She loves it! She ate the whole entire thing.
When Lily and I went to Publix after the playground yesterday, we bought some sweet potatoes, I’m a big fan of baked sweet potatoes.
So when it was Lily’s lunch time, I mashed 1/4 of a baked sweet potato with some breast milk and that too was a big success.
It was so exciting seeing the excitment on her face while tasting something new.
Now if only we could hear those giggles again….
Here is a picture of her sweet potatoes serving and a happy Lily eating them.
