The cutest thing

Lily loves her Oh My Oh My Oh Dinosaurs! book.

It’s one of those that she has had since she was a little baby and she still looks at it everyday.

It’s a good little book.

By now she knows Dinosaurs HAPPY, SAD, GOOD, BAD, BIG, TINY, COLD, HOT, she knows the colors….

On monday however, when we got to the Dinosaurs CUTE page, she pointed to the girl dinosaur and said “Fifi”.

She then pointed to the boy dinosaur and said “Dyla”.

Those are her two best friends Sofia and Dylan!!

Isn’t that the cutest thing?

You know what else is pretty cute?

Later on that day when Will and Lily were heading out the door, I said “bye Lily, I love you!” like I always do and she replied “bye mommy!, I wuv you!”

Seriously, too much. She’s killing me lately.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Inspiring post of the week

Today was my first time visiting The Colorful Living Project and I’m so glad that I did!

Anna Naphtali‘s interview with her old friend Stephen Roach is the most inspiring post I read all week.

It is always uplifting hearing about someone who made their dream come true.

I look forward to reading Stephen’s book Satchel Willoughby and the Realm of Lost Things to Lily.

Thank you Anna and thank you Stephen. 🙂

i hope it’s ok i took this image from Anna

15 months old stats

Lily went to the pediatrician for her 15 month check up yesterday.

She measures 31.5″ long. (75% above average)

She weighs 23 lbs. (average)

She has a bunch of teeth coming in.

With the exception of a light ear infection in her left ear, she is all good!

She was supposed to have gotten shots but will get them in 2 weeks when we go back to check on her ear.

One thing I learned, teeth don’t cause fever.

Ear infections that come with teeth, cause fever. (that explains the fever she had last week, poor baby)

We are putting garlic drops in her ear 3 times a day instead of doing antibiotics right away. (we always like to try the homeopathic approach first)

Here she is in the waiting room.

ooooooooooo, a new book!
