am i the only one?

who thinks that a grown person inside a bunny costume is kind of…. freaky?

i mean, maybe i have watched too many csi and law&order episodes but i look at the easter bunny and think “furry

and if you are a furry, i don’t want to offend you

it’s all good

be a furry

but, i’m just not going to willingly put my kid on your lap

cause i think it’s kind of weird and freaky

tomorrow we will be coloring some eggs on the balcony and then sunday we will be having a mini egg hunt at the miami beach botanical garden just like we did last year

should be fun and i look forward to seeing the same little ones a bit older now totally getting into it

i wish you all a happy easter! (minus the freaky bunny)

The first egg hunt

We had an egg hunt for the kids at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden yesterday.

Since we didn’t want to be in the midst of huge crowds, we decided to have our very own private egg hunt and what better place than our very own botanical garden.

Lily was so excited and she totally got into looking for the eggs and putting them into her little basket.

She wasn’t the only one, I think all of the kids enjoyed themselves.

It was a long and exhausting weekend (Lily hasn’t napped for the last 3 days) that started on friday but really, we had a wonderful time with all of our friends.

Happy monday everyone!

Happy Easter!

We had the most wonderful time at Zura’s house yesterday coloring the eggs for our egg hunt today.

Lily, Lien and Sofia loved dipping the eggs in the different containers filled with colored water.

They dipped, re-dipped and re-re-dipped 4 dozens of eggs.

Once the eggs were done, they dipped shells and rocks.

We sat under the shade of a big tree in Zura’s yard, ate bagels, drank bloody maries, blew bubbles, ran around…

We are truly blessed to have such wonderful friends to start such wonderful traditions like this with.

Happy Easter everyone!
