A magical white Christmas

Christmas was in one word, MAGICAL!

There was eating, drinking, sledding, singing, dancing, napping, movie watching…

We were all together as a family having the most magical white Christmas.

Everyone got lots of wonderful gifts but, the best gift of all was for all of us to be able to be together.

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas as well! 🙂

Here are some (a lot) of pictures of Christmas eve and Christmas day.

A sunset

I love a good sunset. (who doesn’t, right?)

And that is just what we had the other day.

A blanket, some wine, cheese, the whole family and bubbles!!!!! 🙂 (you should really click on the bubble pictures so you can really see the bubbles)

It was the perfect way to end an already perfect day.

Grandparents in, parents out

Yesterday Will and I took Hayes’s offer to stay with Lily so both Will and I could go out and do something together.

Trust me, she didn’t have to offer twice! 😉

We left at about 6pm with Sarah and Francis to go to Elkins to have some dinner and to see some live music at the Augusta Festival.

I think that right after we left, Will had more separation anxiety than me this time.

Despite the rainy evening, we had a great time out and avo Hayes had a great time with Lily as well. Until she got cranky…

But it all worked out great and we hope to do it again before moving back to Miami.

Family, it’s a wonderful thing

We had a wonderful weekend with the whole family together.

Something that doesn’t happen as often as we would all like.

It was wonderful seeing Lily and Adelaide play together. The two cousins had not seen each other since Christmas time and Lily was not even 2 months old then.

There was some fishing in the pond, lots of running around with the dogs, blackberry picking, rolling on the grass, and lots of good cooking by avo Hayes.

It’s wonderful to be surrounded by family and nature all around. I feel so blessed to be a part of it all.
