can’t wait. must get to an h&m!!!!
You guys, I’m freaking out!!!!!!!!
Marni for H&M will be in stores March 08 2012 and seriously, I want it!
I have always loved Consuelo Castiglioni’s designs and prints.
I’m kinda having a mini heart attack right now.
If we don’t have an H&M in Miami by then, either I will have to get to one or some of you may have to send me some!
I mean, for me this is way better than Missoni for Target or Versace for H&M.
By the time some of you read this, Lily and I will be flying over the Atlantic on our way back to Miami.
We had a great time in Portugal filled with lots of quality family time.
As always, I did some shopping however, I must say that when it came to me this year, I had no luck other than a light scarf from H&M.
Lily however is going home with almost a whole new wardrobe. (avo Ricardo and avo Carmo could not help themselves)
She really made out well this trip around.
Due to so many new additions to her wardrobe, there were quite a few favorites this past week. (her favorite however was always the “Abby dress” that she put on top of everything every day)
As always linking up with Morgan for Small Style and see you all next week for some more Miami style! 🙂
Oh! And don’t forget to enter our Portuguese giveaway!!
Here’s a peak:
I’m a jeans girl.
Jeans and dresses really.
I like skirts (I have 2 to be exact) but, whenever I go to put them on, I always just put on a dress or pants/jeans instead.
I have stayed true to my jeans through all these years.
Going out with my girls who I used to work with, means “look your best”.
We all worked retail, we all have our own personal style and when it comes to dressing, my girls are NO joke!
Everything I wore out last night with the exception of the vest (1 year old), I have owned for many years.
Doesn’t it feel great when you can pull something together from things in your closet that you have had for years (and years and years)?
vest- UO (on sale for $9.99!)
I’ve decided to grow out my hair. For now. (like right now, who knows what will happen later…)
I’m not a fan of the growing out stage and the one thing I always turn to are headscarves. (I have a large collection, HairCoverings anyone?)
When Lily saw me wrap my scarf around my head yesterday, she tapped her head. (meaning that she wanted one)
I grabbed a little neck scarf from my drawer and wrapped it around her little head.
We both stepped out for our sunday outing sporting some headgear. 😉
Yesterday was another day in the 60’s but, with a bit more rain.
I loved the Raleigh farmers market.
Will and I will definitely be shopping there when we move here.
It has EVERYTHING!!
I had one of the best home made lemon bars I have ever had (Hayes’s are better) and I had Cheerwine for the first time (yummy!).
It is a windy, grey, cold, rainy day today.
If I were to go out I would wear this:
Jacket/coat by Anthropologie (gift from Will), Dress by Forever 21 (or Forever 31 as I like to call it), Shirt worn underneath by French Connection, Tights by H&M, Boots by Matisse (surprise! I wore different ones today 😉 )
I had so much fun going to see Hole with my girls!
It was pouring while I was getting ready which made the decision of “what to wear?” a little hard but, I chose to go with one of my favorite looks, a dress with boots.
I always like the contrast of a dress (soft) and boots (hard). (I often wonder why I live in Miami since it’s hot most of the year and I don’t get to wear my boots often enough.)
As far as accessories, I borrowed Will’s bag (his murse :)) and what else does a mommy and wife need other than her engagement/wedding ring? (I usually wear earrings but since I knew there was going to be some head banging, I decided to skip them.)
The getting ready:
