For those of you who don’t live in Miami and who are not familiar with it, Lincoln Rd is a long street that goes for about 12 blocks, is filled with restaurants, stores, cafes, art galleries, and it only has traffic on the cross streets.
Sometimes when I feel like taking Lily out of the house but don’t necessarily feel like going to the park and such, we walk down Linclon Rd.
Lily loves it.
She loves all the water features, flowers and the people.
How’s everyone doing with this mercury retrograde?
Have you been rocked by it like we have here?
I’m telling you, I have not been affected by one like I have with this one.
Emotions were flying high this past weekend.
We had all these plans for saturday and sunday but due to emotions and moods not cooperating, the only thing we did a lot of was watch Netflix Instant movies on our big screen tv. (I will share those movies on a later post)
We did however manage to go for a walk on Lincoln Rd and stumbled into Anthropologie‘s great Earth Day Event.
The spiritual meaning of number eleven is quite diverse.
The number 11 is thought of as a “master” number in numerology because it is a double digit of the same number. When this occurs – the vibrational frequency of the prime number doubles in power. Meaning, the attributes of the Number One are doubled.
Therefore, the very basic and primary understanding of the Number One is that of new beginnings and purity. When we see this digit doubled as with the 11 – then these attributes double in strength.
In numerology the number 11 represents:
The 11 carries a vibrational frequency of balance. It represents male and female equality. It contains both sun energy and moon energy simultaneously yet holding them both in perspective separate-ness. Perfect balance.
Consequently, constant reoccurances of number 11 in our lives often signal us to be aware of our balance:
Balance emotion, thought and spirit
Balance of masculine and feminine aspects
Balance of work and play
1111 Lincoln Rd
Robert Wennett wins the ambitious property developer award of the day with his 11 11 (eleven eleven) project in Miami. Wennett is remodeling an aging SunTrust building on Lincoln Road and is adding the building seen below which is designed by the Swiss architects Herzog & De Meuron. The building is a unique combination of retail, residential, and parking. Wennett actually calls it a “parking sculpture,†with some floors rising 30 feet high supported by angular concrete forms. All of this combined with over 50,000 square feet of retail space is sure to make a vibrant statement on the Miami design scene.
Balance, invention, purity and vision is just what I feel when I am in this 1111 space.
It is the rawest piece of architecture that I have yet encountered.
