Skip Hop

Must have of the day

Even though Lily is getting big fast, she is still far from needing one of these. However, these Skip Hop Lunchies are the cutest lunch bags I have ever seen!

These Lunchies soft bags have a roomy main compartment that holds sandwiches, snacks, drinks and more. An insulated, wipe-clean interior keeps food and drinks cold. They are a “Must”!

After all, we love our Skip Hop diaper bag. πŸ˜‰

Things we LOVE!

Our Skip Hop crib bedding set!

I looked at TONS of bedding when I was “nesting” before I found out that Lily was in fact a Lily. The set I always kept on coming back for was this Skip Hop Mod Dot set. It was great for both genders I thought.

I purchased it from Baby Nursery and Beyond through Kaboodle because it went on sale and we were past the “danger” pregnancy months.

Well, it was one of the best purchases. We LOVE it!

The set includes 2 fitted sheets, one yellow and the other beige with brown polka dots, the bumper, the crib skirt and the blanket.

I have washed both fitted sheets and the blanket many times and its colors are still vibrant.

This Skip Hop Mod Dot set is contemporary and not too baby like. Just how we like it. πŸ˜‰

Here is a happy Lily through the months enjoying her Skip Hop bedding. In January wearing a striped shirt that was a gift from aunt Sarah with a jumper from babyGap, In February wearing pajamas that were a gift, and in March wearing monkey and striped pajamas both by Old Navy.

Things we LOVE!

Hope this helps Jennifer (aka Chloe’s mommy)!

After doing much research on diaper bags while still pregnant with Lily, my co-worker Valerie mentioned to me how much she loved her Skip Hop diaper bag even after having it for 3 years.

Will and I checked into it and we liked what we saw, so we ordered one.

We ordered the Duo Double in the uptown stripe print at first and once it arrived, I tried it on and felt like I was going on a weekend getaway. It was far too BIG but we LOVED the print and quality!

We returned the Duo Double with no problem and got the smaller size (I should have listened to Will from the beginning ;)), the Duo in the same uptown stripe print.

We LOVE it!!

It is roomy enough inside, we always carry a blanket, a change of clothes, 4 diapers, at least 1 toy and has plenty of pockets outside for my cell phone, camera, wallet, water bottle (I don’t really carry a handbag anymore).

What we LOVE most about it is its new feature. Skip Hop added 2 small straps inside the top of the bag so it clicks close to the stroller handle. LOVE it!!!

We also got the swipe wipe case and that works great as well. And it kind of matches. πŸ˜‰

Things we LOVE!

Since today’s theme seems to be about sleep, I would like to mention how much we LOVE our Babyletto Modo crib.

Both Will and I searched for hours on the internet what kind of crib we wanted. We knew that we both wanted very clean, contemporary lines and preferably something eco-friendly. Well, 2 out of 3 is  not bad. All the eco-friendly cribs we found were outrageously expensive and out of budget.

Then, we ran into the Babyletto Modo crib. It gave us the look and feel we wanted for way less money. It can also grow with Lily since it’s a 3 in 1 convertible crib.

Lily seems to love it, she has no problem going to sleep in it. πŸ˜‰

So thank you avo Carmo for getting it for us!

Here she is below in her Babyletto Modo crib. Her jumper is babyGap and the bedding is Skip Hop (we will discuss bedding on a different day. That’s a whole different post. ;))
