Smoothie time!

Are you having a hard time making your little ones eat veggies?

Put some veggies in a blender along with some fruit and voila!

My friend who has a 5 year old and a 3 year old was telling me the other day how much her kids love the juices and smoothies she makes for them and how most of the time they have no idea there are veggies in there because of all the fruit.

I put her words to the test and it totally worked!

I put half of a banana, 3 strawberries, a handful of fresh baby spinach leaves and a handful of blueberries in a blender along with a few ice cubes and blended it all up.

When done, I poured it into one of Lily’s cups, stuck a straw in it and had her have a taste.

She totally loved it! 🙂

She drank 3/4 of it.

Try it out and let me know how it goes.

Things we LOVE!

I have introduced Lily to yogurt and she LOVES it!!

I bought her the Stonyfield Organic Whole Milk YoBaby Yogurt in Vanilla and Banana and she can’t get enough of it.

I give it to her plain, sometimes I mix it with fruit such as bananas, peaches, strawberries (yes, even a strawberry! she was fine, no allergies.), I’ve mixed it with her cereal. It’s definitely her healthy yummy treat. 😉

And I LOVE watching her eat it!!!

Here is a picture of Lily and her yogurt face. 🙂 (now I have Gaga in my head but singing: yo-yo-yo-yogurt face, yo-yo-yogurt face . lol)
