Your favorite things lately are rainbows, stars and the moon.
You have been obsessed with the moon for a little while now.
When you see her out, you point and you say “ooooooooooo!”.
When you see her in books, you always point her out as well.
You started liking stars because of my star tattoo on my left wrist.
Every time I’m changing your diaper, you grab my left hand and you kiss the stars.
You are SO sweet!
Rainbows are your latest, and you became aware of them through the Yogabbagabba Paul Williams’ video Rainbow Connection.
You love when I draw rainbows for you.
Rainbows, stars and the moon… you are a girl after my own heart.
I love you,
Getting 30 minutes of yogabbagabba videos has become a morning routine.
I usually sit Lily on the bed with my laptop and let her watch while I’m getting dressed.
There are 2 songs that we really like bopping our heads to.
“Hello world” sang by Sal Makesela has the catchiest tune!
I find myself singing it through out the day.
And then there is “Lovely love my family” by the Roots.
And on that note, have a great weekend everyone!
Lily and I just took it easy yesterday.
In the morning, instead of going to the park, we stayed home, watched YoGabbaGabba, read books and played with her toys.
She didn’t have much of an appetite all day.
I hate seeing her not eat.
The only thing she wanted was grapes.
Even though her temperature was back to normal (I took it every hour), she was still not 100%.
Later in the afternoon, again instead of going to the park, we went for a bike ride because I wanted her to get some fresh air.
I treated her to some vanilla ice cream.
I wanted her to eat something other than grapes!
She had some oatmeal for dinner and went to bed at her regular time.
She woke up several times during the night and her temperature was almost 100 again this morning.
We will see what today brings.
Maybe no library. 🙁
in the morning watching yogabbagabba
Lily is not a big fan of yogabbagabba. (they kind of freak her out actually)
However, we just played this video and she loved it!
I loved it too.
The “I found love jingle”, how great is that? (turn the volume up and sing along. ;))
